We had a couple of magnolia trees in our yard in Virginia. I used to love to pick even one and float it in a bowl on the dining table. It would perfume the whole house! I never knew about them being pollinated by beetles, however. How very interesting! Are the fireflies out yet? That’s one of the very few things I miss living in CO!
