Hi, friends!

Our 2010 is coming to a close and it’s a good time to reflect on the year that is passing.

What have you achieved?  What have you gained?  What have you learned?  How have you expanded?  How have you grown?

Congratulations on those things!

Now . . . what are those things in your life that no longer serve you?  What can you release?

What beliefs?

Limitations?

Friendships?

Relationships?

Behaviors?

Addictions?

Grudges?

Thought patterns?

Roles that no longer serve you?

The need to say yes when you really want to say no?

The need to take on other people’s suffering?

Guilt?

Grief?

Co-dependency?

Work that no longer fulfills you?

Something else?

Whatever it is, give yourself the permission to release it.  If you like, create a releasement ceremony for yourself.  Write down on a piece of paper those things which you want to release in the new year.  Thank them for serving their purpose and then tell them you release them now.  If it suits you, find a bowl or a rock, take them outside and set the little piece of paper in the bowl or on the rock, then set the paper on fire.  As the paper floats heavenward, acknowledge the releasement of the old.

And, welcome space for the new!

Blessings of releasement and the endings of cycles.

In light, Laura
